I’ve put together a broad selection of my music below, starting with my experience writing music for podcasts.

By the Book — Podcast Music Package

I created the theme music for the latest season of the meta-self-help podcast By the Book. The creators of the show asked me to transform their existing theme song, a lo-fi garage rock tune, into something that sounded like it was from the Roaring Twenties, and I responded by producing the jazz tune you can hear on the left. I also created an extended instrumental cut and a set of stings and bumpers.

Katie Couric — Podcast Music Package

I wrote and produced the theme song for Katie Couric’s podcast. The show was looking to refresh their audio branding, and wanted an upbeat guitar-based track that matched Katie’s energy. I also created a couple of stripped down alternate versions of the track that worked better under narration, as well as a large collection of stings and bumpers in different moods to cover transitions.

Additional Podcast Theme Music

Here’s a selection of additional theme songs I created for a range of podcasts. They range in style from folk to Bollywood-inflected disco, and in form from short intro jingles to extended minutes-long loops that are meant to play behind speech.

Scoring

I’ve included a broader selection of my scoring work here, originally created for advertisements, films, and records. Stylistically, they ranges from bombastic orchestral music to subtle acoustic underscores to more abstract electronic ambient music.

Popular Music

In addition to my podcast and scoring work, I also write pop music in a range of styles, from dance music to teen pop to R&B and hip-hop. I’ve included a range of mostly instrumental selections in the playlist to the left.

Sometimes, these tracks get licensed into advertisements like the following Starbucks spot:
